Christmas is only 3 days away...I cannot believe how quickly is has arrived this year. I guess that means i am getting old. I remember how LONG it took to arrive when i was a child. Not anymore...

Now that i am responsible for “making the magic” and not “waiting for the magic” it changes things a lot. There is a lot of pressure to make it “just right” and give the “perfect things.” My mom discussed it on her blog today and i think i cannot say it better so read about it HERE!

I am trying not to let myself feel stressed and remember what this time of year is all about. Family, love, Christ, friends, kindness...

For the first time in MANY, MANY years my brother (aka Uncle Tyler) will be celebrating Christmas with us. It is so nice to know we will all be together for the holiday. My kids ARORE him and it is so much fun to see them interact and spend time together. Even Abbey yells out “Tywwwerrr!” when he comes in the room.

I guess the BEST gift i will be receiving this Christmas is the LOVE from my family and being surrounded by smiles. My kids are so excited this year for Santa to come, Maddy will be in the Christmas pageant at Church and she “made” gifts for the family this year. Sean will be taking a week off during the holidays so we can spend some quality time as a family. It is wonderful when he is home and the kids are so happy to see their daddy all day.

All in all, I am soooo incredibly blessed with an awesome husband, 3 beautiful children and a great extended family.
